Aunty Olga message stick

Here is an example of how Aunty Olga Collis-McInespie, one of the Murrawarri Nation's great teachers, works with symbols and images to teach cultural awareness to groups of people visiting her learning place (a garden of living Koori history).

Working with images as Olga has in the example above, to identify the central concepts of a lesson, is a great way to foster deep knowledge.
